Meeting again after 10 over years

Just yesterday (20th Aug 2005), i met up with my fren who came all the way from Holland. Well... a short history behind me having a fren from Holland - I went to Holland when I finished in Primary 1. Supposedly migrated over there, don't ask me why we are back, ask my parents! LOL.. anyway, stayed there and study there for 3 years... She's a chinese, who's born there. So we played when we were young. After I came back... I'm around 10 years old.
So... I'm now.... 23, so that's 13 years ago since we last met!

Well, in between all these years, of course we stayed in touch. Firstly, the snail mail... sending letters now and then, greeting cards... And as technology advanced, emailing each other, and more recently the MSN messaging.
So we had no trouble recognizing each other when we first met.
I would say, both of us really look so similar.

Both our parents would call us "Ling Ling". Thats the first common thing... Then throughout the day that I brought her out, exploring Sentosa, and Suntec City, the more similarities there was. LOL
And We Both like DISNEY! well.. there's lotsa NEMO in Underwater World now... So kids, ask your parents to bring you there. Parents, bring your kids there.. Its an enriching experience.

Well... Another similarity, both of us are studyin in the same field, the service/hospitality industry.
Maybe I should go back to Holland there to work. Afterall, working there, I'll be earning EUROs, which is about twice the value. So if i earn 1k there, in SGD would be around 2K!

But not sure if I can stand the loneliness and being apart from my family.

After having a fun day, I made an remark. Hopefully after you returned to Holland, the next time we meet, would not be another 10 years.. By then, we'll most likely be married with kids. LOL

It was great fun. Will post Photos soon.

and for info - Underwater World's latest exhibit = Sea Angels... They are so small, and cute and.... really look like angels!
See it to believe it. Can't believe pple can find something so small in the large oceans out there...
