100th Post

Today I celebrate my 100th Post! Wow, how time flies and I've already 100 memories recorded here.

What's my 100th post about...?

My first time experience up the Singapore Flyer

I got rather cheap tickets for Singapore Flyer due to some promotion with NTUC. Due to the promotion, they limited the flight time that we can make use of the ticket which was before 6pm.

I had to call them to book the flight. I've been praying that I'll be able to see the sunset when I'm in the wheel. So I booked the last flight at 6pm.

My parents and I reached City Hall MRT at 5pm and waited for my brother and his gf to join us. I was told there's a shuttle bus service to the Flyer, so we decided to go for the shuttle service.

We waited for at least 20 minutes at the bus-stop and we could tell there were a lot of people all waiting for the same bus.

By the time I was able to board the bus, I was told there wasn't enough seats and no standing is allowed. (By the way, the bus could seat less than 40 pax)

Given the frequency of the bus (which is around half an hour) and it was a weekend, there was quite a number of angry passengers. And I was one of them.

My parents, brother and gf were not able to board the bus. And I was told when I booked the flight that I had to reach the flyer at 530. Since there was a limitation on the timing of the flight, I was very angry as this could possibly mean that we will miss the timing and may even need to forfeit the tickets.

To make a long story short, God was soo good! He has turned something unpleasant to something beautiful. I managed to see the sun set while in the capsule! God has answered my prayers!

Lesson learned: God uses many different ways to answer our prayers. Sometimes though, the journey can be rather unpleasant, but he turned all things good!
