The title 'Faith Like Potatoes' came from a famous American lecturer who used to tell his students that they needed faith like potatoes. He meant that their faith needed to have flesh and needed substance. As Hebrews 11:1 says, "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen."

What struck me was the quote:
The condition for a miracle is difficulty, however the condition for a great miracle is not difficulty, but impossibility.
It is only through IMPOSSIBILITY that we will see GREAT Miracle.
Impossibility comes from Impossible.
Impossible –adjective
1. not possible; unable to be, exist, happen, etc.
2. unable to be done, performed, effected, etc.: an impossible assignment.
3. incapable of being true, as a rumor.
4. not to be done, endured, etc., with any degree of reason or propriety: an impossible situation.
5. utterly impracticable: an impossible plan.
6. hopelessly unsuitable, difficult, or objectionable.

3. incapable of being true, as a rumor.

5. utterly impracticable: an impossible plan.
6. hopelessly unsuitable, difficult, or objectionable.
There are of course many things are we are unable to do, therefore it is deemed as Impossible.
It is only through these impossibilities that we will come and recognise events as great miracles. So how would these impossibilities become great miracles?
It is said in Luke 1:37 "For nothing is impossible with God".
So the formula for seeing great miracles is:
Impossibilities + Faith in God = Great Miracles
Sounds unable to comprehend? To put things into perspective;
My Impossibilities is flour & water (yes, a sticky mess) and Faith, simply is Yeast.
I can have a huge sticky mess of flour and water, but I simply need a small bit of yeast and my miracle of a bread dough would come.
Even in Matthew 17:20 says, "If you have faith as small as the mustard seed, nothing will be impossible to you."
There is faith in everyone of us. Faith to believe that the chair that you are sitting on will not suddenly collapse. It is only what we place our faith upon.
I am placing my faith upon Jesus.
What about you?
