After the auction last Friday, I found out the highest bidder is a Pink IC holder, who stays in a hotel. Yup, the address stated is a hotel room, and she had bid for 2 plots of land! I wish I'm her.... or maybe become her god-daughter. HAHAH... dream on....
Anyway, life was terribly busy for me after that busy friday... Monday, Tuesday I had to finish packing up all the files in the office.... consisting of 12 2-door cupboards, with 4 shelves all packed up with files! Had to help my pregnant manager to pack her stuffs too... All in all I had to pack up over 60 carton boxes!
Wednesday the movers came in at 9 am to slowly move... So our table was only left with PC and some paper work to be done.
After the movers finish moving all the boxes, I stayed behind with my other manager to unpack some of the cartons which has all the files...
Thursday my other colleague went earlier in the day to the new office to try to clear up and clean up the office... In the early evening, all of us went over when the movers came to move our PCs and other final working stuffs.
We had to wipe the desks and try to unpack as much as we can as Friday is the auspicious day we start work at the new place. I stayed behind till 2130 with my manager to pack and unpack. At least there aren't as much boxes lying around my desk.
Friday... The day we start operating from the new office at Arrival Plaza, in Sentosa Cove itself. The bosses said to start work only from 9am onwards, so we weren't allowed to on the PC prior to that. So all of us just sat around and chatted. Then around 10 i think, we were told a simple "opening" ceremony will begin and we are to hold a cup of water in 1 hand and something from the office eg. file in another. We were told there will be a bigger opening ceremony when the shopping area is more filled with activities. Then my big boss walked through the ribbon at the main door way and all of us follwed suit. We had a small buffet from Delifrance, and some Old Chang Kee curry puffs, yam cake, chicken wings, fish balls and cakes from Polar. Had a really good meal. LOL...
After eating and chatting, we started working. Sigh~ I really want to complain! I'm sooo busy with my work, yet my other colleague very the not automatic one... Still dare to come and ask me to help her put HER files into the cupboard. Wha piang! She's in charge of those files and yet still come and "ask" me... It more like ordering me to do it. I'm not even under her. Our working relationship is, I cover her duties when she's not around and vice versa. But I doubt she'll cover mine when I'm not around.
Stupid woman.
And coming week is the Barclay's Singapore Open 2006. I'll be helping out at the booth for 2 or 3 days, and she's suppose to be covering my duties loh. Think she'll do it? I DOUBT IT! Sigh... And my weekend is gonna be burnt.
Saturday I woke up at 12 noon! Was sooo tired... Wanted to go out shopping but ended up jus stayin at home and watching tv the whole day.
Sunday afternoon I had to deliver 2 models from Sentosa Cove to Shangri-La Hotel. So I had to travel to Sentosa, meet the delivery person, go to the other end to our container where the model is kept, den head to the hotel. And the security was damn tight... So many police officers around as there was some ministers in the building. Took more than 45 min to manage to get to the ballroom where our exhibition booth is located. After settling everything, I took a cab to orchard, then sent my phone to repair.
For the 2nd time, the phone has the same problem. I think this will be my last clamphone. The image went blank when i open up the flip. Lucky the warranty's still there. I think I waited for more than 1 hour before I manage to see the CSO. Watched the whole Mr Bean cartoon series that's being shown.
After I settled my phone, I walked over to Takashimaya's Kinokuniya Book Store. Browsed a few books on crystals, and I bought a book on Tarot. Well, been neglecting my cards lately.. gotta start bonding with them soon....
Another week passed, another week's here... Another weekend coming, another weekend burned. Hopefully something interesting will happen at the S'pore Open! Hee... Maybe will get to see some of the rich and/or famous people.
