A REALLY really Fresh Beginning... Part 2

21st June 2006 -
Yes, today's the day when I sign the agreement with the company. Woke up at 830, bathed, changed, make-up, and went out. Took a bus to the interchange, took a train to HarbourFront station, and took a bus to...... Sentosa Island!
Yes, I will be working under Sentosa, or rather, Sentosa Cove. The up and coming prestigious residential area within Sentosa island as Marketing Support Assistant.
So I went through the terms of employment, signed, and told to get my medical check asap. (Hopefully they don't find anything wrong with me) And was told to report on Monday for the orientation at 9a.m. I asked if there's any dress code for me, and she replied, smart casual would be good as you'll be coming in contact with the millionaires and billionaires.
It ain't cheap to own a place at Sentosa Cove.
Didn't know it would be that expensive.... Hmmm... Maybe from there I'll get to know some rich guy eh... Hehehehe...

Anyway, as today's my parents' day off, they decided to go down to Toa Payoh for Dim Sum. Well, since I got a new job, my mom suggested to my dad to give a treat in celebration and as a form of encouragement. Dim sum was nice as usual, but I guess the weather's kinda too hot, I didn't have much of an appetite. Did a bit of shopping, and took a long bus journey back home.

On the way home, my mom told me that since morning, my brother has been helping me to clean/clear up my room. I was pretty surprised, he didn't do it when I asked him to. LOL...
The surprise sure is pretty... Things have been rearranged, my brother went through all the heaps of stuffs inside my cupboards and help me to make the decision to throw them away. Of course things haven't been thrown away yet, in case I still have a need for it. Well, I DO want to keep everything... bits of memories here and there... But since my mom and bro have been telling me to clear up the clutter, and the first step has already been taken, so I kept a few things. Mainly the things from my years in Holland when I was young.

So I sorted out the few things I wanted to keep. Our home's part-time 'garang guni man', aka my bro, who has master the art of tying up paper the garang guni man style helped me to tie all the notes that I had kept since my sec school years to poly. Well, they weighed at least 5kg! Wow, I wonder how much we get can for selling that.

Did some final cleaning up, dusting, and putting things back in order, my room look so much nicer now. Well, here are some photos....
Looking more like a lady's room ya....

Nicely done....

Finding a new job, removing junks and decorated a bit of my room.... THIS IS MY NEW BEGINNING!!!

Really really want to thank my folks for being ever so supportive all these years. And definitely my bro, to push me forward. Like they say, old/bad things don't go, new/good things won't come. My friends, who have been there for me, being supportive and listening ear or 'eye'. And please, if you see me going to slump back into my old self, help me to remind me.

Look out! The New Lynn Neo is here to STAY!~
